Gratitude List 31/03/2019
Come rain or shine my mum was (and still is) always there for me. Now in recovery I can attempt to follow in her footsteps.
Today I am grateful I am there for my girlfriend, to support her through her difficult times.
Today I am grateful I am there for my son, to help him through this important stage of his life.
Today I am grateful I am there for my daughter, to receive with appreciation all the love she gives me.
Today I am grateful I am there for my friends, to unite and help them in any way I can.
Today I am grateful I am there for my dad, to listen to him as he shares with me his feelings.
Today I am grateful I am there for my brother, to be ready for if and when he decides to talk.
Today I am grateful I am there for my siblings, to support them and share memories this mother’s day.
Today I am grateful I am there for my fellows, to take (or return) calls to those in need of support.
Today I am grateful I am here for myself, to put in the diligent effort required to keep my ego at bay and continue to recover.
Today I am grateful I am there for my mum, to be connected, ready to listen to her guidance and to receive her strength and love.
